My author blog was voted as one of the 100 Best Websites in Writer's Digest Magazine. I was a humor blogger for SocialIn (a blog with an audience of over two million) for over two years. I also have blogged for Huffington.
I've been blogging for almost nine years and can honestly say that I've done all the dumb stuff so you don't have to.
A blog is the single most powerful and enduring forms of social media, especially in the hands of a skilled writer, but...
Too many writers don't properly understand the blog. Instead of the blog working for them, it is actually undermining their brand, diffusing their power and sapping their strength. Instead of driving book sales, it takes so much time it keeps the writer from ever finishing the book in the first place.
This is not the blog's fault. I am here to show you how it's done. This class is a game-changer and will prepare you for success. Yes, a blog is hard work, but it doesn't have to be a joyless nightmare.
How does the blog work? How do we start one? How do we get people to care about what we write? How do we increase traffic? How do we encourage comments? What are the advantages and disadvantages of a blog? If we have already oopsed, how do we refocus and get back on track? How do we blog in a way that eventually sells books?
All this and MORE!
