Description: Twitter has over 200 million registered users, and consistently ranks in the top two of social media sites. It’s part of the platform agents so desperately want to see and indie authors so desperately need. And it can make you a better writer. Artists! This class can help you too! Platforms are vital for all creative professionals.

Twitter is great, but it can also be confusing, fast moving, and full of spam. Getting noticed isn’t easy. I know. For eight months, I let Twitter intimidate me. I barely used it and only had five followers (two of which were my brother and sister-in-law). Then, in less than a year, I learned to love Twitter and went from five followers to over 4,000.

This course will save you the wasted time, headaches, embarrassment, and learning curve I had starting out on Twitter, and show you how fun and helpful it can really be.

Over the course of four weeks, you’ll set up your twitter account in a way that lets people know you’re a person not a spam bot, learn the basics of TweetDeck and Hootsuite (tools to help you navigate the Twitter-verse), answer all your questions about how to find followers and what to tweet about, learn Twitter’s unique terminology, how to manage your time, stay safe, and more.

The Silver level is a self-study program. You’ll receive each lesson via email as a PDF.

A Beginner’s Guide to Turning Twitter From a Terror into a Treat – Gold

At the Gold level, you receive everything the Silver level receives, but you’ll also be part of a private WANA Tribe. You’ll be able to discuss the lesson with other classmates and ask Marcy whatever questions you might have about the lessons or anything else Twitter related. Most importantly, you’ll develop friendships with your classmates so that you’ll have an invaluable support system on Twitter to help you build a solid foundation.

A Beginner’s Guide to Turning Twitter From a Terror into a Treat – Platinum

At the Platinum level, you’ll receive everything available to Gold level students, but you’ll also receive private coaching from Marcy. Over the course of the class, you’ll meet for three half hour Skype chats, polish your Twitter bio through email exchanges, and Marcy will help you customize a Twitter strategy that fits your unique focus and schedule.
